PriceBite is a free Android app that shows where any grocery item is cheapest near you, across 27 Canadian store chains, with no account.
PriceBite compares grocery prices across 27 Canadian store chains and more than 3,100 store locations. Search a product and see its price at every store near you, side by side, cheapest first; add your shopping list and it tells you which store is cheapest for the whole basket this week. It is free, needs no account, works in English and French, and is built and run in Canada by one developer. Prices come from stores' public websites and flyers and may differ in store. PriceBite is not affiliated with any grocery chain. Available on Google Play; an iPhone version is planned.
Pavlo is a software developer in Vancouver who built PriceBite after getting tired of opening six flyers to price one shopping list.
